Usage

This template is for providing an external link to another wiki, which would contain information about the character's backstory which is not included on the Brickipedia article. To use this template, use the following syntax:

{{storyref|Wikia subdomain, eg, starwars for starwars.wikia.com|Name of the wiki, eg Brickipedia, the LEGO Wiki|Name of article on other wiki|Name displayed in link}}

Note: If the name of the article on the other wiki is the same as the name of the article here, the third section is not required. If you wish to display the same name as the article on the other wiki in the link, the fourth section is not required.

Some approved shortcuts have been added for wikis which have been approved to link to externally for character information. These shortcuts are:

• Wookieepedia: Wookieepedia
• Harry Potter Wiki: Harry Potter Wiki or HP Wiki
• Indiana Jones Wiki: Indiana Jones Wiki or IJ Wiki
• BIONICLEsector01: BIONICLE Wiki or Bionicle wiki
• Pirates of the Caribbean Encyclopedia: Pirates of the Caribbean Encyclopedia, POTC Encyclopedia or POTC
• Marvel Comics Database: Marvel Comics Database or Marvel
• DC Comics Database: DC Comics Database or DC
• Pixar Wiki: Pixar Wiki
• Lord of the Rings Wiki: Lord of the Rings Wiki or LOTR Wiki
• Wikisimpsons: simpsons, Simpsons or The Simpsons
• Wikipedia: Wikipedia

These shortcuts can be used in the following way:

Note that the shortcut is optional, and the longer way can still be used for these wikis.
