Template:Talkback/doc

Usage

For notifying a user of a message left for them in a place other than their own talk page.

If the message is on another user's talk page, the following code can be used:

{{Talkback|(user|User)}}

For example,

{{Talkback|user|Example user}}

produces:

Hello, Talkback/doc. You have new messages at Example user's talk page.

You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} template.

If the message is on an article's talk page, this code should be used:

{{Talkback|page|(page)}}

As an example,

{{Talkback|page|Main Page}}

creates:

Hello, Talkback/doc. You have new messages on the talk page for the page Main Page.

You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} template.
