I believe it is necessary, we have several such templates to notify a user about a special fact, like that a minifigure only appeared in movies or videogames. Many other wikis use similar templates as well, as far as I know. By the way, this templates should be eventually be replaced by {{NonLEGOminifigure}}. User:Samdo994/sig1 10:28, April 28, 2011 (UTC)
