Artemis is a character from LEGO DC Super Villains, playable with the Young Justice DLC pack.
Background[edit | edit source]
Artemis Crock (codenamed simply Artemis) is the protégé of Green Arrow, introduced to other young heroes as his niece. However, this is a coverup devised to hide her true origin as the daughter of the supervillains Sportsmaster and Huntress (not to be confused with Helena Bertinelli) as well as sister of the assassin Cheshire. This is eventually discovered by Artemis's teammates, and she is suspected of being a spy, but ultimately proves her loyalty.
Later, Artemis fakes her own death in order to join Aqualad in infiltrating a team of villains led by Black Manta, using an amulet from Zatanna to take the new identity of Tigress. When a summit of super villains meet with The Reach at Santa Prisca, Ra's Al Ghul notices Tigress's amulet and exposes Artemis and Aqualad as spies. However, with help from their friends, the two are able to escape and sabotage the villains' meeting.
After Wally West's death, Artemis abandons her Artemis moniker in favour of the Tigress identity, in order to acknowledge that things have changed and to respect Wally's sacrifice.
