Custom: Galaxy Squad[edit | edit source]

Custom: Bug Swarmer[edit | edit source]

The Green Team has spotted the Bug Swarmer and is in pursuit! Beware though, as the Swarmer is equipped with a rotating blaster at it's tail and sharp claws! It's also eqiupped with a cacoon that traps enemies. It includes two minifigures, a member from the Red Team and an insect.

The coloration is a bit off.
Very pleased at how it turned out.

Custom: Vermin Repellent[edit | edit source]

The Orange Team rolls into action to destroy the insect colony in the Vermin Repellent! The gigantic vehicle includes a rotating repellent sprayer that turns when the vehicle is rolled, and detailed interior! Also included is a small insect vehicle with a cacoon hive It includes 3 minifigures, two members of the Orange Team, including a robot helper, and an insect.

Custom: Outpost Attack[edit | edit source]

The Blue Team has set up a base of operations to monitor and record all bug activity! However, it soon comes under attack by the bugs! Base of operation includes a detailed interior with weapons rack, radar, and a cannon. Use it to defeat the incoming bugs! Space Mosquitoid vehicle includes a hidden missile launcher and posable tail and a cocoon. Includes 3 minifigures, Robot Sidekick and two insects.

The Mosquitoid vehicle looks suspiciously like a scaled down Wrap Stinger......
Base folds in to create a more compact look.
Idea comes from the lack of a actual base for the theme. (No base, only vehicles...)

The Lion Knights has conducted a surprise attack on the Dragon Knights campsite in their weapon carriage with flick-fire missiles and a catapult! Fight back with the hidden flick-fire missile and weapons as the Dragon Knights try to defend their base! Includes 5 minifigures, three Dragon Knights and two Lion Knights.

There are so many figures in this set that it could be a battle pack......
This set is strangely similar to Forest Ambush.

Relieve the scene from 'Skyfall'! James Bond, after passing his tests, goes to Shanghai to hunt for Patrice. He follows Patrice into a building. Experience the Glow-In-The Dark feel by turning off the lights and watch as the pieces glow! Fight Partice at the upper floor, explode the glass, and hurl him down the building! Includes 2 minifigures, James Bond and Partice.

Sail out to the Casino on the Sea! James Bond, upon following the tracks of Partice, enters the Casino on the Sea! Using unique styled architecture, relieve Bond's entry. Sit down in the detachable pub, and flip the bridge to relieve the fight scene with Komodo Dragons! Includes four minifigures, James Bond, Bartender, Severia and Bodyguard.

Custom: Showdown with Nadakhan[edit | edit source]

Renact the final showdown with Nadakhan in Jignjago's ruins! As the ninja try to distract Nadakhan, Flintlock has his rifle aimed at him from above. Featuring crumbling columns, rock catapults, and a exploding statue of Sensei Yang! Includes 4 minifigures, Nadakhan, Possessed Nya, Flintlock, and Jay.

Winter Village Cafe[edit | edit source]

It started out as an idea for a more classic design keeping very much to the classic Winter Village bakery. The curved windows were indeed very hard to replicate in LDD, and the awnings above were even harder. The roof was also, surprisingly hard to get right, and I had to resort to the stacking of slope pieces to get the classic look.

The giant wreath was a surprisingly good and fun build, being inspired by my experience on a trip recently where the store decor left me extremely impressed and inspired. The small yet tall podium was similarly conceptualised and built too. In this case, the side decorations are more of a display pieces for minifigs to take pictures with, rather than more practical installations from Lego's winter village line.

Of course, no winter village set will be complete without a light brick! (except this year's train, that was indeed disappointing =/) I had included a light brick just sandwiched in the awnings above the curved windows, which is coloured bright red in the above screenshots.
