- “Boy problems who's got them?
I've got them too
Boy trouble, feels like double
I don't know what to do” - ―Carly Rae Jespen
Hi, I'm Soup, one of the many dedicated editors here at Customs. I am a huge fan of LEGO. I try to post customs often, so check them out!
Biography[edit | edit source]
I started building with LEGO from a very young age but didn't really take much interest in it until I discovered the Idiana Jones theme back in 2008. But I did play with DUPLO a bit when I was a kid, and I had a few clickts too. I was always big into the LEGO video games even Star Wars which I had no sets of or didn't see any of the films! I started to become more and more interested in LEGO after 2008. Power Miners and Alantis sparked my interests and I collected a good few sets those two themes. I became a serious LEGO collector in 2011 with the Harry Potter theme and I bought most of those sets. I liked Ninjago's '11 wave too but I steered away from the theme until the summer of 2015 when the sets became good again. DC was a big thing for me and I have nearly all it's sets, I'm missing 6: the thumbler, joker's helicopter and the small Man of Steel set (I don't like any of those 3 sets and ain't spending twice the price to buy them on bricklink). I'm planning to get the other 3 sets (Jokerland, Black Manta Deep Sea Strike and the Batboat). I became interested in Friends in the summer of that year and got around half the sets by the end of the year. Before I knew it the pastel theme was my favourite and I'm only missing Pop Star Tour Bus, Recording Studio, Limo and Olivia's Workshop (I will get them all by the end of the year). The sets in the Disney Princess theme are a dissatisfaction to me as they're not at all accurate. I still get all the sets though for the useful pieces and some of the characters look okay. Elves looked fantastic when I first saw pictures but now it's only okay. Most of the sets look bad from behind which is a shame as the fronts look really cool. The pieces in Elves are fantastic and it lured me into buying the whole theme. I don't have any Scooby-Doo sets yet but I'm definitely collecting them all, I won't judge the sets yet as I don't have them. I guess I should talk about Collectible Minifigures I do think they're a rip off if your not good at feeling (which I thankfully am), it's annoying when you get a spare of a character you don't love. I'll finish my backstory by giving you a few facts: I have over: 560 sets, 60000 pieces, 115 mini dolls and 800 minifigures.
