User blog:Soupperson1/LEGO partnerships with VEVO!
The LEGO Group today announced its new partnership VEVO a new and fresh range of construction toys.
The new theme will feature new minifigures of classic music vedios.
Bonnie Snitz, the CEO of VEO said "Since VEVO's release I always wanted toys to go with the site. Now we have partner shipped with LEGO. Expect classic music videos such as 'Call Me Mabey' to feature a set. The theme will feature mini-dolls to appeal to the female market. Market research carried out by the Denmark based firm has confirmed that 12-17 year old girls, loved the idea of this theme and will be the key demographic. The boxes will be lemon with VEVO written in purple to catch your eye! We are thrilled to be able to unveil that the first set from this exciting new development will be on VEVO tonight!"
Her husband and chief editor, Sam Snitz added "We are also working on a Juniors line , to appeal to younger fans. Each year, products will be produced based on the five most popular music videos, voted on a poll as well as the classic ones. The theme will replace City, due to it's demographic moving onto Ninjago."
I can't wait to see the new set tonight! Ooh this will be my new favourite theme! This is a step in the right direction for LEGO.
