Hey everyone!
Today, I'm pleased to announce the first contest here at the English Brickipedia celebrating its launch on Brickimedia! Now, you probably want to know what this contest involves, so I'll cut to the point— this is an editing contest, so you have to edit articles on the wiki. Simple task, eh? The prize for this contest is an exclusive badge/award that recognises your participation in this one-time-only contest.
Here's some more details on how to participate in this contest:
- Earn Bronze
- Improve 10 mainspace articles
- Write 2 new articles at Class 4 quality or higher
- Earn Silver
- Improve 50 mainspace articles
- Write 5 new articles at Class 4 quality or higher
- Earn Gold
- Improve 100 mainspace articles
- Write 10 new articles at Class 4 quality or higher
- Inventory 1 set or minifigure
- Earn Platinum
- Improve 150 mainspace articles
- Write 15 new articles at Class 4 quality or higher
- Inventory 5 sets or minifigures
- Review 1 set
- Earn Diamond
- Improve 200 mainspace articles
- Write 20 new articles at Class 4 quality or higher
- Inventory 10 sets or minifigures
- Review 2 sets
This contest will take place all February, so there should be plenty of time to edit a lot! With the LEGO Movie airing in about a week, articles about it should be good places to get some constructive edits in. Just as a hint, a lot of articles in Category:2014 sets also need improvement!
When you finish, link to your contributions so that they can be counted. Any edits you've already made so far this month can be included in the counting at the end of the month if you comment that you are participating in this contest! If you want to better track your contributions during this contest, you can make a user subpage like cw:User:Brickkart/Miscellaneous.
