Volstagg is a Marvel Super Heroes minifigure that appears in LEGO Marvel Super Heroes. He is a friend of Thor and a part of the Warriors Three.
Description[edit | edit source]
Volstagg is a DLC character in the "Asgardian DLC Pack". His abilities in the game consist of melee attacks with his axe and being able to perform a jump and dive forward. Volstagg has long orange hair, and beard resembling Thor's. He wears brown Asgardian armor with gold detailing and brown leggings with bronze detailing, he also sports printed boots. He also wields an axe.
Background[edit | edit source]
Volstagg's was a member of the Asgardian race and a friend of Thor. He first met Thor when the Warriors Three joined Thor's expedition to restore the Odinsword that had become cracked.
Volstagg was fairly advanced in age for an Asgardian, and it has been alluded to that he was a highly respected and feared warrior in his prime. Volstagg was a huge, bumbling oaf much given to boasting and bragging, the last into battle and the first to claim victory (usually undeserved). Referring to himself as the "Lion of Asgard," he usually caused more problems than he solved and seemed totally unaware of the chaos that almost always followed in his wake.
In LEGO Marvel Super Heroes[edit | edit source]
Being a DLC character, Volstagg has no immediate role in the game itself or any of its side missions.
