Hydraxon is a custom BIONICLE designed by Bug, though it represents the same character that appears in this set.
Biography
Hydraxon was a member of the Order of Mata Nui, trainer of the Toa Mata and eventually jailer of the Pit. He was severely injured when the Great Cataclysm hit, leaving him to be killed by Takadox. Unlike other deceased beings, he was not returned to the Matoran universe due to a malfunctioning Red Star. One thousand years after his death, the Kanohi Ignika turned the Matoran Dekar into an exact replica of Hydraxon. It also shielded Dekar's memories as a Matoran and replaced them with Hydraxon's.
After Teridax was defeated by Mata Nui, Hydraxon migrated to Spherus Magna where he eventually got an armor upgrade. He now protects the Ignika.
Designer's notes
- Hydraxon is one of my favorite BIONICLE sets, which is why I revamped him.
- This is sort of a callback to my first BIONICLE MOC.
