The Elemental Master of Lightning' (also known as Jay's Mother Elemental Master of Lightning Electric Electricity and Thunder Elemental Mistress of Lightning Elemental Mistress of Lightning Electric Electricity and Thunder Elemental Wizard of Lightning Electric Electricity and Thunder Elemental Wizardess of Lightning Electric Electricity and Thunder Elemental Sorceress of Lightning Electric Electricity and Thunder Elemental Mage of Lightning Electric Electricity and Thunder Elemental Magess of Lightning Electric Electricity and Thunder Elemental Magician of Lightning Electric Electricity and Thunder and Elemental Magicianess of Lightning Electric Electricity and Thunder) is a Ninjago character who first appeared in 2017.

Elemental Master of Lightning inherited the powers of Lightning Electric Electricity and Thunder, powers granted to the her father and ancestor first Elemental Master of Lightning Electric Electricity and Thunder by the First Spinjitzu Master.
The Master of Lightning fought alongside the other members of the Elemental Alliance during the Serpentine War. Not long after the war ended and the Anacondrai Generals were banished, the Master of Lightning married an actor by the name of Cliff Gordon. She was planning to be on her honeymoon when the Masters of Time Krux and Acronix rebelled against the Alliance as they believed their element to be superior to the others and therefore deserved to rule Ninjago. The Masters attempted to defeat the two Hands of Time, but they proved to be too powerful. However, Wu formulated a plan to defeat the twins. With four blades forged from chronosteel by Ray (Master of Fire) and Maya (Master of Water), Wu and Garmadon fought the Hands of Time with the other Elemental Masters looking on. When Krux and Acronix attempted to launch temporal attacks on Wu and Garmadon, the blades absorbed the powers of the Masters of Time. Wu and Garmadon then used the Time Blades to open a vortex to throw the blades in to so that they could be lost through time and the power could never be used. However, Krux and Acronix both jumped through the portal as well.
Forty years into the future, Acronix, who had travelled through time when entering the vortex, was reuinted with an older Krux, who was instantly returned to Ninjago after he went through the portal. Although they were now powerless, Krux had spent the past forty years formulating a plan and the two were eventually successful in recovering all four Time Blades. They used the blades to power a large robotic time machine called the Iron Doom. With the Iron Doom, they travelled back to the past to just after the time they had jumped through the portal. Using the Iron Doom and their army of Vermillion warriors who were aboard the robot, the Hands of Time again fought the Master of Lightning and her allies in the Alliance. The Alliance was being overwhelmed by the Vermillion, however Kai and Nya had stowed away on the Iron Doom. Posing as their parents Ray and Maya, the two ninja showed the Master of Lightning and the rest of the Masters how to defeat the warriors. After repelling the Vermillion forces, the Masters of Time retreated, using the Iron Doom to again time travel, but this time to a place far into the future.
Some time after their battles with Krux and Acronix, the Master of Lightning and Cliff Gordon had a son named Jay, who would inherit his mother's powers. However, for unknown reasons, Jay was adopted by Ed and Edna Walker, and never knew his birth parents, finding out the identity his birth father was only after he had died.
