Part 10048 is a Lord of The Rings minifigure hair part introduced in 2012. It is called "Mini Figure Wig No. 34". It is only used on Hobbits like Frodo Baggins and Samwise Gamgee. In LEGO The Lord of the Rings: The Video Game there is a black, grey and white variation which can be seen on Peter Jackson and Bilbo Baggins.
