Template:Price/doc

From Brickipedia, the LEGO Wiki

Usage[edit source]

This template should be placed in the Price field in the {{set}} infobox.

{{Price
|US = USA
|DE = Germany
|UK = UK
|AU = Australia
|BE = Belgium
|CA = Canada
|CZ = Czech Republic
|DK = Denmark
|FI = Finland
|FR = France
|HU = Hungary
|IE = Ireland
|IT = Italy
|LU = Luxembourg
|NL = Netherlands
|NZ = New Zealand
|NO = Norway
|PL = Poland
|PT = Portugal
|ES = Spain
|CH = Switzerland
|SE = Sweden
|AT = Austria
|KR = South Korea
}}

The numeric value of the price should only be used, not the currency symbol at the front, eg for US $4.99, the US field should be filled out as:

|US = 4.99

If a European price is required but the set was released before the Euro was adopted by that country, an extra parameter should be added:

|XXo = 1

Where "XX" is replaced by a relevant country code listed above. Then, simply use the country field as normal. An equivalent Euro price will also be automatically generated. For example, if an item in Germany was DM 22.98, the following should be used:

|DE = 22.98
|DEo = 1

Additionally, only for Finnish (FI) and German (DE) currently, there's a field you can use for providing a source for the data, like so, for a Finnish pre-Euro price of 585mk:

|FI = 585
|FISrc = <ref name="lelukirja">[https://www.flickr.com/photos/149869814@N08/52548931609/sizes/o/ Lasten Paras Lelukirja 1998, p. 44-45]</ref>
|FIo = 1

For German, the source field is obviously called DESrc.

If the article you're editing does not yet have a section called "References", please remember to add that section and add the {{Reflist}} template to that section to ensure that the reference shows up properly.
