8065 Mini Container Truck is a TECHNIC set released in January 2011. The set includes a mini container truck built up of 119 pieces. The alternate model is a pick-up/tow truck.
Description[edit | edit source]
The main model of the set consists of a miniature container truck. The truck features many details such as trucks has, including a cab, a rollcage, a dumping container, and four wheels. As well, headlights and a radiator is features on the front of the cab. In the truck, a gear located on top of the cab is connected, via a system of gears, to a function in the rear that allows the container to be loaded and unloaded without direct contact.
The set also includes instructions for an alternate model, a pickup truck. The pickup truck, as well, has many features in common with most trucks: it contains a two-seater cab, distended headlights, a car pickup in the rear, and four wheels. A function of the model is that by turning a gear on top of the cap, one can raise and lower the contraption in the back, enabling it to haul other vehicles by two of their wheels, similar to a technique many tow trucks use.
