Hello.

I am The Nightingale, or Jamie, or CzechMate or whatever you remembered me as. Years ago I edited here and participated a lot in the website. I left the site due to long term health issues and waning interested in LEGO. This is a bit of what my life over the last few years since I last really was active here (2014). This won't be a super cheery blog post so read if you are okay with talk of mild themes.

My health was deteriorated and it is honestly a bit tough at the moment. I am currently relying on welfare to get by, and am taking a lot of medications to try and keep my life under control. I am still hopeful of getting something to control my life with, but it is hard.

As a result of this, my connection with LEGO and a lot of internet communities has waned. I am struggling from depression and it isn't helping. I watched The Last Jedi before Christmas and I am pleased to say it really got me back into LEGO. I've spent about $200 on SW sets since it came out, and am looking forward to building everything.

I hope to start contributing to here more, at very least making reviews or customs. It's been a really enjoyable experience starting to get back into Brickimedia and realising how much I've missed over the last 3 years.
