Brickipedia:Choosing a username

This is a rather opinionated topic, and there is no concrete rules about what to do. However, these guidelines may be helpful.

1. Keep it "G-rated", that is, suitable to be viewed by all audiences.
2. Look through this page, and think about your chosen idea. Is it too similar to another username?
3. Think about the username. Will you be happy with it in one week? A month? A year?
4. See if it has any suitable abbreviations, and whether you would be happy with these. If you really like the username "Sonic Heads of Rollbacking Trolls", but don't like being called short, then it may not be a good username for you.
5. Say the username to yourself. Does it stand out? Is it memorable? Is it easy to say?

If all of those scores a 'pass', then go ahead and create your account/change your username.
