And of course NOW they make one AFTER the CUUSOO project is rejected. :P

This is why the CUUSOO project was rejected. This set was already in the near-final stages of the design process by the time the CUUSOO project hit 10,000 supporters, thus they couldn't begin designing a new one to release under the CUUSOO theme. It would be too big of an expenditure to release two near-identical sets at the same time, it wouldn't be fair to the designers to have their work on the current set go to waste, and the license would most likely not allow for two identical products to be released like this.

No, I don't really watch video reviews. I prefer to read a review than to watch/listen to one.

It looks a lot bigger than I first thought, and I do like the Sandcrawler, but I still don't think it's a very good value. I agree that Aunt Beru and some facade of the Lars homestead would have been good, but I was at least expecting some Tusken Raiders....

Also, this minifigure is hideous. I remember when Star Wars figures seemed simple compared to most other themes, but, blech. :x

I agree, the past several years of LEGO Star Wars have had way too much detail in the minifigures.

It doesn't really look like over 3000 pieces to me. But still looks like an amazing version of a Sandcrawler. I was hoping for a Homestead with Aunt Beru to go along with it... maybe next wave.
