"News is anything that makes a reader say, `Gee Whiz'!" - Arthur MacEwen.
- Probably should have had its own news article, but no one made one of the week - Designer of the latest
CuusooIdeas set, Alatariel, has had the chance to show off the set, which I assume is being released soon. (http://alatarielatelier.blogspot.co.uk/p/blog-page_26.html Alatariel's Atelier) - "No way!" story of the week - The LEGO Movie sold the most DVDs in the US this week, to the surprise of no one. It outsold number 2 "Lone Survivor" by 13-1. Take that Navy SEALs. (Variety)
- Year of the Bus news - It is the London Year of the Bus, (its like a more industrialised version of the Chinese calendar.) which means outside Hamley's toy store is a bus stop made of LEGO. I believe this means there are as many LEGO bus stops in real life as there has been in City sets. (C-net)
- Scugog news - Scugog's library is holding its third annual LEGO engineering contest. You have until July 3rd to enter. (Durham Region)
- Mexican economy news - The LEGO factory in Mexico is getting bigger. (Brickfanatics)
- Filler of the week - You've probably seen this image. So did Daisy Ridley and John Bogeya, and it made them happy. (mtv)
- Story I didn't really read of the week - LEGO + Kids = Learning? Or something of that ilk. Look, not much happened this week. How else am I meant to fill this thing up? (Waikato Times)
