New LEGO Dimensions packs have been discovered by the guys over at Brick Inquirer. Walmart briefly listed some new Dimensions sets: three Chima "fun packs" (Cragger, Eris, Laval), Jurassic World and Scooby-Doo "team packs", and The Simpsons and Portal "level packs".

Update:Pictures of the sets as well as a Doctor Who set have been found off LEGO.com.

I don't think we will get Matrix as no one under the age of 12 knows what it is

I'd like to point out that the portal level pack retails for $60, about 3 times the amount of the normal sets. This basically means it's most likely another portal like the one in the starter pack and not based of the video game.

There are some things that indicate it is in fact a Portal set-

  • The "portal" in the starter pack has only ever been referred to by LEGO as a gateway, or more commonly a vortex (which is obviously going to be the main name for them because the villain's called Lord Vortech).
  • The names of all the sets on Walmart followed the same form- "Dimensions <xxx> Pack - <theme>", I don't see why this one would be any different.
Personally I'm 99% sure it's a Portal themed set but I'd rather wait for confirmation, which is partly why there's no mention of the game in the article.

You do know that $59.99 is Walmart's placeholder price, correct? File:NE3-1.png

Why was The Simpsons mentioned in the title if Jurassic World, Scooby-Doo and Chima were announced too? :P

a) Because I was writing it. b) Because I couldn't fit all 5 things in the title.

c) Because.
