One of the United Kingdom's most prestigious, the University of Cambridge, is on the search for a LEGO professor. The LEGO Foundation has provided Cambridge with £2.5m to fund the LEGO Professorship of Play in Education, Development and Learning, alongside an extra £1.5m for a play research centre, to be headed by the professor. The role is open to "all those whose work falls within the general field of the title of the office".
