John Blackheart was a character from the original Pirates line in 1989, appearing exclusively in 6255 Pirate Comic.
Background[edit | edit source]
John was one of the Blackheart Cousins, the other Blackheart Cousin being Brian Blackheart. Fifty years ago John and his fellow cousin captured a great treasure and buried it on an island. They then scratched a map to their buried treasure on a gold medallion and divided it in two. As the governor's were after them, the two split up to escape. John eventually disappeared somewhere south, in a jungle.
