A cheap starfighter for bad guys on a budget[edit | edit source]
Well, this is my review of 30276 First Order Special Forces TIE Fighter, which has a pretty long name for a pretty small set. Although it's deemed "exclusive," I'm 90% sure it's one of those sets you find at the checkout lanes at Target or in the gardening center at Walmart. I happened to get this set during a White Elephant gift exchange at a Christmas party.
The Set[edit | edit source]
The set is what it is- a mini tie fighter. It has a great color scheme consisting of black and gray with red accents. My favorite part of the set is the little printed winshield. :) I'm not entirely sure what the gun piece in the back is used for. Is it a canon? Is it an antenna?
As seen above, the ship can seat one minifigure on top, and the ship is slightly taller than a minifig.
Conclusion[edit | edit source]
Overall, it's a cute little set with some nice pieces. The set it self has some uses, such as a stocking stuffer or small gift, an ornament if you have some string left around, or it can be used to build up your First Order army if you don't want to spend $70 on the real one.
Pros:
- Cool color scheme
- Looks great overall
- Some good parts
- Price
- Can seat one minifigure
Cons:
- The wings are a little wobbly
