About meI work as a system administrator for the Brickimedia Association where I help develop and build the platform that Brickimedia communities run on. See my personal account that I use in Brickimedia communities. I have had many years of experience in web development and wiki building. I started work on various LEGO wikis such as BIONICLEsector01, and contributed to forums such as BZPower and Eurobricks. I am a Wikipedia contributor under the username GeorgeBarnick. I joined my first Brickimedia community in late 2012—Brickipedia, where I was offered the position as a system administrator at Brickimedia. I also work as a news reporter and database administrator at Brickset. |
My workMy work at the Brickimedia Association consists of developing for the MediaWiki software the wikis operate on, and to manage the server that hosts Brickimedia. I engage myself in the communities to help users understand the platform. You can follow my work at Brickimedia by looking at my GitHub account. As a local administrator at Brickipedia, I understand the importance of community involvement and independence. I stress to users the importance of their activity within their communities and working collaboratively with others.
