My LEGO History[edit | edit source]

Please note: This is only a brief draft of my history with LEGO; I will work on finalizing it later.

I first got into building with LEGO DUPLO when I was 2-3. When I got to be around 6-7 I got my first real LEGO set, which I'm fairly certain was a LEGO City set. When I got to be 8, me and my sister started collecting Exo-Force, until it was discontinued. At the age of 9 I heard about the MINDSTORMS NXT set that was being released soon. I then showed it to my parents and told them that I really wanted it, so they had me saving for it. About a year after I started saving I got all the money I needed for the set, so I had my dad order it. As soon as it arrived I immediately built and programmed the starter bot. After a couple of weeks of building and playing with the bonus models, I lost interest in it and so it stayed in its box for awhile. I got into collecting Racers shortly after. In the Summer of 2008 when LEGO Agents was released, I immediately fell in love with the theme. Me and my siblings were planning on collecting all of the sets and creating a large LEGO Agents city. Sadly, our dreams of having a LEGO Agents city were shattered when then theme was discontinued in 2009. Right after LEGO Agents was discontinued-or right before-I regained my interest in LEGO MINDSTORMS, so I began building again and became really active on the NXTLog (now entitled MINDSTORMS Community). Since then I've bought TECHNIC sets, motors, thousands of new pieces and parts, that I use when building new robots. I also gave my previous LEGO collection to my younger brother, on the agreement that I could use them if I ever needed.
