User blog:Berrybrick/Top 5 Hottest DCCM Characters

From Brickipedia, the LEGO Wiki
3

When I saw Soupperson's blog ranking the five hottest Marvel characters, I fell in love with the idea. However, being a DC fan, my body filled with an inner fire that could only be squelched by showing the good but misguided people of Brickipedia just how much hotter the DC Cinematic Multiverse (DCCM) is. With the recent reveal of the film version of the Suicide Squad introducing nine new characters (or, rather, versions of some of them) into the DCCM, this seems like the perfect time. Though this can include pretty much any live action DC, for recognizability, I'm relegating it to characters who have only appeared in the last ten years. Our Top 5 countdown begins after this countdown from our sponsors:

Number Five

Felicity Smoak (Arrow/The Flash)

Whether you ship her with Oliver or Ray or Barry or Roy or Ronnie or Cisco or Slade or Harrison or Laurel, there is just something about Felicity's bubbly personality has got literally everyone chasing after her. There is no way that this list would be complete without a woman whose name is even smokin' hot.

Number Four

Scarecrow (The Dark Knight trilogy)

Even with that psychopathic nerdy charm we love here at <3DC, we would be lying if we said that Scarecrow alone deserves to be on this list, but as anyone who knows what's hot and what's not can tell you why this Bat baddie haunts our wildest nightmares: A wicked horse that can shoot fire from its mouth. Who can resist that?

Number Three

Firefly (Arrow)

Remember this guy? Of course you do, how could you forget him being blazed into your mind when the earliest episodes of Arrow undertook the challenge of adapting one of Batman's least remarkable foes? Turning him into a disturbed firefighter returned from the dead, Firefly blazed into the hearts of viewers everywhere when the man gave up and step into a fire, ending his tragic life. What can we say? We like the disturbed type. That may be a tough act to follow, but I think we all know what's next....

Number Two

Superman (Man of Steel)

Yep, it's Superman, the Man of Steel himself! What is hotter than death by fire but a guy who is powered by the sun? Everyone knows that Superman's got heat vision, but Man of Steel took it to a whole new level by removing his uncool freeze breath, and spared no expense in showing us just how hot this new version of Clark Kent can be without it. We are introduced to his character as he rescues civilians from a burning oil rig including IGNITED CHEST HAIR!!!!! Can you believe this isn't even the hottest character the DCCM has to offer?

Number One

Firestorm (The Flash)

Can you feel the heat? Come on, you had to have seen this coming. We thought about throwing a curveball like Mister Freeze (Batman & Robin) or Captain Cold (The Flash) here, but there is just no denying that Central City's burning man is the absolute hottest thing in the entire DCCM (a universe which even includes actual stars). As if a look that says "I'm what The Arrow would look like with darker hair," he's also got Victor Garber in his head. Two hotties, one body. And don't those eyes just make your heart melt like warm chocolate?

An honorable mention goes out to Heat Wave (The Flash): There may be a case to make for Mick Rory, but the way that he crossed guns with Captain Cold cancelled out any chances he had at us taking his hotness seriously. That was just really disappointing. We expect better from a man with such a fiery personality.

Clever, wasn't expecting that. :P Still, I feel there would've been some way to optimize the joke, since it really doesn't have much chance to develop after #3. By that point, the joke has been delivered, not really escalating in any way. Perhaps it would've been even better if #1 wasn't heat/fire related again, inexplicably changing the rules again to further surprise the reader? I dunno. Still, pretty good. :P

That was the purpose of including the first one, but I was so worried about finding themed characters that I kind of forgot about it after that. Oh well.

Conclusion is a great idea too. Maybe next time. :P

Thanks. :P

Oh, yes, the first one was definitely a good idea; it really helped to set up the joke. :P
