Hello all Brickipedians who still patronise this site after it was declared dead a few months ago =P

It has become somewhat of a tradition for me to build a LDD MOC every Christmas themed after the iconic Winter Village series.

This year, may I present to anyone who is still reading Brickipedia: the Winter Village LEGO Shop!

This is one of the most fun builds I had done, taking real inspiration from Apple stores, Lego shops in real life, and other toy stores. As such, the store is mostly transparent especially in the main parts of it. In keeping with tradition too, a light brick is integrated into the top dome of the main structure, and can be activated simply by pressing down on it.

The genie minifig is actually a lamp post, as I wanted to try a more unusual design for the lamp posts, and since this is a lego shop, a genie is the most interesting and exotic idea that i could come up with =P

Hey Omega, great to see you're still around! The LEGO Shop looks awesome, really like how it maintains the look of a LEGO Shop but it still manages to have that really Christmas-y feel. Is that a Pick A Brick wall I can see on the inside by the door?
