I've reverted your edits to Karl Georg Kirk Christiansen. Although it's not easy to find information about him online, this Danish-language document cited in the Danish Wikipedia clearly states that Karl Georg died in 1998; granted, it does not specify if he was 78 or 79 years old at the time of his death, nor precisely where (or even in what country!) he died. Regardless, this does at least clarify the most pressing question: is he alive or dead?
