1580 Lunar Scout is a Classic Space set released in 1986. It includes a ground vehicle with a Blue Classic Space astronaut.
Description[edit | edit source]
The set consists of a single vehicle, built with in Classic Space style. It contains a green and red colourscheme, with liberal doses of black and grey in the model. The vehicle is a six-wheeled rover, and features many pieces of equipments built onto it. These include lights, antennae, various scanners, including a metal detector, wrenches, storage spaces, and a computer in the rear of the machine. The rover also features a opening cockpit in front, inside which one minifigure can be placed. One minifigure is included with the set, a Blue Classic Spaceman.

- This set was originally available as a special offer from McDonald's in USA and not for sale. However, that was eventually changed, and retailed to the public.
