Yes it's that time again where we at Brickipeda cram all the latest LEGO news into one blog for your convenience.

For starters Minecraft is getting not one, but two new minifigure packs.

Both sets will come out September 1 2016. Interestingly the packs include all new printed pieces (16 new prints in each if the arms are not printed), which is rare for single sets.

LEGO has also created a new microsite, but this time it's not a theme. Remake shows off different things you can create from one set, without the instructions. So far only City sets are on the website.

Lastly DC Superhero Girls has been confirmed to come out in 2017, most likely January or March as we're hearing about it now. Thanks to CM4Sci for the news!

Do we really need anymore Minecraft sets? There can't have been anyone asking for more minifigures to the theme as the game only has one official character design and all of those minifigures just look so random as if they just went on one of those custom Minecraft skin sites and decided to use the first eight designs they saw.

I don't know. I don't even like Minecraft and I think that those are a good idea. They allow for some customization to create your own avatar, instead of using Steve or Alex.

Well if you were buying all the sets I don't think you'd want the only people in your village be ten Steves and six Alexs. :P

Who's Alex? As far as I know it's just Steve.

(Your on, mini-dolls are more LEGO than BIONICLE! >:D)

(Eh, no. Mini-dolls are incredibly stylized and the customization aspect is limited. Some old BIONICLE sets have issues with specialization, but they are extremely customizable.)

Does BIONICLE go against some sort of design philosophy, or does it just feel different?

I meant it as more of a witty comeback, nothing personal (I hope :P) they're just not brick based. Though they are technic based so again just a comeback. :P
