Here's a look at some of the things that have been happening in the last couple of weeks:

LEGO Dimensions is out

LEGO Dimensions was released on September 27 in the United States (September 28 in Australia and September 29 in Europe) along with the first wave of accomapnying packs. The game has been receiving pretty good reviews all around.

Some previews of the new 2016 themes

The first unwatermarked Nexo Knights image has been posted online, and a few days before, a second Angry Birds was image was tweeted by LEGO which features a Minion Pig.

October releases and deals

On October 1, series 6 Mixels were made available for purchase, along with 40123 Thanksgiving Feast. 10249 Winter Toy Shop was also released to non-VIP members to buy.

United States

Free 40138 Christmas Train with any purchase over US $99 (October 13-November 13).
Free LEGO Star Wars Poster 2015 Episode III with any Star Wars purchase (October 26-November 1).
In-store Monthly Mini Model Build: Angler Fish (October 6 and 7 only).

Europe

Free 40138 Christmas Train with any purchase over FR €55 (October 23-November 20).
Free LEGO Star Wars Poster 2015 Episode III with any Star Wars purchase (October 15-21).
Free 5002938 Stormtrooper Sergeant with any Star Wars purchase over €30 (October 15-31).

Double VIP points are also available betweeen October 1 and 14 in the US, or between October 14 and 31 in Europe.

Two new LEGO series coming to Netflix

Netflix has announced that two new original series are coming to Netflix in 2016. The series will be called LEGO BIONICLE: The Journey to One and LEGO Friends: The Power of Friendship, and will start with four episodes each.
