Space is a LEGO City subtheme released in 2011. Unlike the regular Space theme introduced that year, Alien Conquest, the City subtheme features realistic, modern-day vehicles, equipment and settings, all adapted to fit the City aesthetic. The line was developed alongside an educational program in conjunction with NASA. A second wave of sets were released in 2015.
