Harry Potter (minifigure): Difference between revisions

Harry's parents, [[James Potter]] and [[Lily Evans]], were once killed by the dark wizard [[Lord Voldemort]]. Harry was nearly killed by Voldemort the same day his parents were, but because his mother gave her life to protect him, the killing curse rebounded off him and onto Voldemort, which destroyed the Dark Lord's body.

 

Shortly before his eleventh birthday, a letter arrived for Harry. Upon seeing it, Uncle Vernon panicked, and burnt it before Harry could read it. Over the next few days, more letters arrived, until, eventually, hundreds shot down the chimney. After this, Vernon fled the house, bringing the whole family to a hut on a small island in the ocean. <br />

Immediately after midnight, Hagrid arrived, bring Harry a birthday cake and a final letter. The letter revealed that Harry had been accepted into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The next morning, Hagrid and Harry left for London to get Harry's school supplies.
