Brickipedia News:2016 Batmobile revealed!

Yes you read that right, we have a picture of the first system 2016 set! It's the Batmobile, based off of its appearance in the the upcoming movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice!

The set includes Ben Affleck's Batman and Batmobile. Two additional unnamed characters will be released alongside it as well as an additional vehicle. The set will be released on January 1st 2016 and will have 306 pieces and retail for 29.99 USD. The set features various new elements, such as the new windscreen and sliver batarang.

I love it! The stud shooters are a little off putting but they'll be easy to remove. Great job LEGO!

All of Friends,Scooby Doo, DC girls, Disney Princess, Elves and now probally this sub theme. 2016 will be really expensive for me :P

Nice, I like it. Looks pretty sleek and I love stud shooters mounted on vehicles :P

Batman looks pretty good, mainly because of the boots though (I think that's already been done on a 2015 set though, I'm a bit behind)

As someone who has gotten really tired of oversized Batmobiles, this is a nice change of pace. The thing looks fast, and it's pretty compact. I'm impressed.

I don't particularly care for the Batmobile design in the movie, but this looks really good. I was only planning on getting whatever set Wonder Woman comes in (and hoping it is The Daily Planet) but I'm interested in this now too....

The Batman minifigure isn't very special (the face is disappointing, though maybe he'll be paler than before) but at least he has boots. I like the torso more than this year's too.

Wow, turned out much better than I would expect at that size. No cartoony style, yet still no super-sizing... I thought it was going to star in some over-enlarged $40+ set or something, or turn out like the TDKR set, but this looks really well-done. Are the parts used for the windshield new? If so, they look pretty useful.
