Brickipedia presents to you a news round-up of LEGO DC Super Heroes news all tightly wrapped up in Wonder Woman's lasso. That means that we present nothing but the truth. I give you my word as someone who isn't a real journalist.

Firstly, earlier this week the first round of variant covers promoting LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham have crept into comic book stores. The variants are for "Action Comics #36," "Detective Comics #36," "Grayson #4," and "Green Lantern #36." You can see all of them over at FBTB.

Though LEGO Batman 3 has been repeatedly advertised as releasing this Tuesday in the United States and Friday in the rest of the world, some countries seem to have broken that date and the game is available already. Various YouTubers have uploaded gameplay of the first few levels. Meanwhile, Vibe, Dr. Fate, and Question, among others, have been confirmed by the game's social media campaign as playable over the last couple of days.

This morning, someone over at Eurobricks reported that Spielwaren.de had images of the last DC set (that we know of) lacking images, 76040 Brainiac Attack, have been posted. You can see them at our article. The set includes classic versions of Superman, Supergirl, and Martian Manhunter as well as the archvillain Brainiac and his skull ship. The set will retail for 25 USD come next year.

Also today, Warner Home Entertainment announced with sparse details the next animated LEGO DC venture: LEGO DC Comics: Justice League vs. Bizarro League. The cover teases an animation style similar (if not the same as) to the one used in LEGO DC Comics: Batman Be-Leaguered and teases a Justice League of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg and...Guy Gardner(?) as well as Darkseid and Bizarro counterparts of the heroes. The combo pack will include an exclusive Batzarro minifigure.

Thanks for the news on 76040- I just went through Eurobricks and totally missed that info {{C|but the site's called spielwaren-bludau.de, spielwaren just means toys, most German sites we get content from start with speilwaren :P). Too bad there's no new Superman, but Supergirl looks great and the set's pretty good.

Just like, to Germans, most English LEGO sites start with this strange word, "Brick"... :P

Thoughts: Who is the character in the image from LB3? The Braniac set actually looks really good to me, especially for an easy $25. As for the DVD, really no comment from there. Haven't seen it, haven't really heard much about it, so I'll save it. Minifigure is a nice add I guess.

Vibe! :D

I like the Brainiac set too. The only fault I have with it is that it is the same old Superman, but it is a worthy successor to Power Armor Lex.

Minifigure is a terrible add- why would I want to pay for two versions of the same movie? I don't get these packs... you either watch things on a DVD or a Blu-Ray, you wouldn't watch it on both. Having the minifigure with the single versions and it'd be fine. I don't even have a Blu-Ray player... so no minifigure for me I guess ;(

Amazon has the DVD up for pre-order, and Batzarro is included there as well.

I think the brainiac attack set is mediocre, Supergirl and Branaic are nice though. But seriously all these villains are outnumbered. And yay another DVD we buy for a figure :P I think a non bizarro batman would've made sense as bizzaro batman would make sense in a set, and he'd sell it.
