Indiana Jones and The Raiders of the Lost Ark is the first movie in the Indiana Jones series. It contained the first LEGO Indiana Jones set.
Story[edit | edit source]
In Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones has to get the Lost Ark from the Nazis (German soldiers) and Rene Belloq. He enlists the help of Marion Ravenwood, a barmaid in Tibet who possesses the head of the Staff of Moses, which can be used to find the location of the Ark of the Covenant. However, Gestapo officer Major Toht discovers them and sets fire to the bar, burning his hand as he touches the boiling staff head and leaving the imprint on his hand.
Later, Indy travels to Cairo and is helped by his friend Sallah. Together they discover the Ark's location and find it before it is stolen by Nazis. They follow the Nazis on their way to a small island, where the Ark is opened as Indy and Marion are held capture by the Nazis. The Ark's power destroys the Nazis but Indy and Marion are left unharmed.
