The Cairo Henchmen were hired by the Nazis in Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark as murderous assailants to Indy and kidnappers to Marion Ravenwood. Although the men were equipped with swords in the movie, 7195 Ambush In Cairo shows them as having a wooden club.

- The face underneath the scarf is the same face used for Knight of the Cruciform Sword, although in the games it is a tan version of Satipo's face. Also, in the games, the Swordsman has a different colour of skin than he does in the set,
- In the games, the black scarf does not have the Ninja Sword holder on the back.
- In LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues, the scarf is blue and covers the mouth.
- However, there is a goof in LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures when the Cairo Henchman picks up a hat and his scarf drops, he is revealed not to have a mouth.
