6513 Glade Runner featured a typical catamaran-shaped airboat.

An airboat (or swamp boat) is a flat-bottomed vessel propelled in a forward direction by an aircraft-type propeller and powered by either an aircraft or automotive engine. Vessels of this type frequently appeared in LEGO sets. Airboats are a very popular means of transportation in swamps, swamp-like environments or on rivers, where they are used for fishing, bowfishing, hunting and eco-tourism, while other variants are used as racing boats.

The first LEGO renditions of airboats were relatively simple in design, yet they were clearly recognizable with their propellers at the aft. Most of them had catamaran hulls and there were boats with and without cages around the propellers. The biggest of these vessels was included in 8968 River Heist.
