Is there any source other than the EB thread? I can't find anything, and from memory the whole UCS BB-8 thing started because someone mentioned we could be getting a new UCS. Someone just said "hey what about BB-8?" abd everybody ran with it. Brikkyy Talk 10:39, 16 March 2017 (UTC)

I think that was j2g and one other user who both independently knew that BB-8 was coming. But Stash2Sixx (SW EB mod) added a bunch of brand new Ep8 information to the first post. It was his anonymous "reliable info source" who gave the info on the second wave lineup. The item number was never discussed in the thread, so the info must have also come from his source and not just have been coincidentally added because it was rumoured. Brickset have 71587 listed as an unknown The Last Jedi set, as does other Google results (perhaps coincidentally, one of the early Google results is a buildable BB8 on Ideas, no clue why though.) CJC95 (talk) 23:11, 16 March 2017 (UTC)
