40001 LEGO Santa Claus is a Seasonal set sold exclusively at LEGO Stores and the LEGO Shop during the 2009 holiday season. It includes 42 pieces that build a flat 2-dimensional Santa Claus.
Description[edit | edit source]
Santa is one stud wide and stands upright by way of the two black 3x2 plates that represent feet. His legs are black 2x1 bricks, connecting to a white brick that lines the bottom of his suit. The rest of his body is mainly red, with a black belt running through the centre and three close-set black buttons running in a vertical pattern down the middle. Santa's right arm is raised in a wave, while his left is at his side. Both arms start in red, become white around the wrist area and end in yellow for a hand. Santa's white beard descends over his chest and covers all of his face but his eyes, which are depicted by a yellow brick with black and white eye printing. His nose is shown by a red stud over the white of his beard. Santa's hat is red with a hole in it and droops over to the left. It is tipped in a white piece.
