Background[edit | edit source]
Big Bob Oakley was originally a famous actor, but was unsatisfied with his riches so he went into a life of thievery. He used several monster disguises including a vampire to scare away people who saw him. As a result of his actions he was wanted in 7 states of the United States of America.
His latest target was the precious jewels hidden in Frankin castle of Transylvania. He used his werewolf disguise to scare the caretaker away. Soon after he sees the gang (Daphne Blake, Fred Jones, Scooby-Doo, Shaggy Rogers and Velma Dinkley) in their Mystery Machine. Knowing they'll try and stop his plans he disguises himself as a gypsy and warns them not to go into the castle. The gang refuse and head for the castle away, now disguised as a vampire he once again tells them to leave but they still won't budge. When Daphne gets over he locks her in the dungeon, but she eventually gets out. He chases the gang around the castle in his vampire, Frankenstein and werewolf disguises but still isn't able to scare them off. He eventually finds out that the jewels are sewn into the tapestry in the burial chamber and runs off. He leaves the gypsy's earring behind and the gang find it. They confront the gypsy and chase her into a bush, and unmask her to be Big Bob Oakley. The sheriff came and thanked the gang and then he took Bob and the tapestry into custody.
