An Elder Guardian is a figure from the Minecraft theme.

Elder Guardians are enlarged variants of the Guardian mob, differing in color and strength. Similar to their counterpart, the mob spawns underwater within ocean monuments, though only 3 are present per structure, and are able to survive on land. They also attack squids and players similarly, using a charged laser and their protruding spikes to harm, but the Elder Guardian also places a weakness effect on players, preventing them from easily escaping or killing the mob. Upon death, the mob drops prismarine shards, fish, or prismarine crystals, alongside a single sponge block exclusive to ocean monuments.
