Please do not edit this area. This seems simple to me; Banning is used for continued offenses where the user has been amply warned. I guess any real issues would be in length? I would say it would be easiest to leave that to the mod's discretion, but maybe another use or two could review the chat logs and approve the ban length? We can keep our basic chat guidelines I think. As for swearing, anything inappropriate for the situation should be warned for and further action taken if it persists.
