Glatorian are the 2009 BIONICLE Toa-sized sets. They are powerful warriors that aid the Agori villagers and fight in arenas.
The fiercest of them all are the Skrall, the black-armoured stone tribe, who are ruthless and reckless. They dominate Glatorian matches and take whatever they want, whenever they want.
The Element Lords are a special form of the Glatorian, gifted the power of the elements in such a way that they have become that element. They ruled the Agori on Spherus Magna, until they led their tribes against each other to fight over the Energized Protodermis. To stop them, the Great Beings created the Baterra, who are robots that subdue all armed combatants.

Notes[edit | edit source]
- Glatorian refers to an occupation in the BIONICLE story, the actual species name is currently unknown.
- Kiina is the only known female Glatorian.
- Ackar, Kiina, Gresh, Tarix, and Vastus were gifted with elemental powers by Mata Nui.
- After the Ice, Fire, Jungle, and Water villages were combined, Ackar was put in head of all the glatorian (with the exception of those in exile, the Vorox, and Skrall).
- The word Glatorian most likely comes from the latin word, Gladiator.
- Telluris was never an actual Glatorian, but he is considered one as the actual species name for the Glatorian is unknown.
