Squidward Tentacles is a minifigure in the SpongeBob SquarePants theme, first released in 2006.
Description[edit | edit source]
Two versions of the Squidward minifigure exist: The original, which featured a regular printed minifigure head, and a later one with a special head mold. The older version also had gray hands instead of sand green. His skin colour is more blue than green in the show, and while his minifigure uses regular legs, in reality his legs are each made up of two tentacles. His version from 3818 Bikini Bottom Undersea Party has sand yellow arms and a party necklace printed on his torso.
Background[edit | edit source]
Squidward is the dull, pessimistic and narcissistic next-door neighbor of SpongeBob. They both work for Mr. Krabs at the Krusty Krab restaurant, Squidward as cashier and Spongebob as fry cook. SpongeBob's friendly, optimistic, and above all loud nature is a constant source of antagonism for him. He loves art (particularly self-portraits), playing his clarinet and pampering himself, though he's actually terrible at all three.
