  • Rumors about new Castle theme, people might get happy.
  • Miners lost in a cave - Return of the Rock Monsters, says Professor M. Brains.
  • Skull Warriors attacking Okoto - Not again, says a villager.

LEGO NEWS

LEGO may not like leaks, but rumors are going around about a possible what-people-call successor for CHIMA. Set in a fantasy land, with a feel like the '07 hit and a little Knight's Kingdom-y, we might get a castle theme for 2016 with a little more character.

On a sadder note, Ultra Agents is on a thin line. Where are the summer sets? They have appeared in America, leaving the rest of the world setless. This is a pretty bad decision by LEGO, as many are not-so-happy. Shame on you, LEGO.

What about Elves you may think? With all this fantasy-castle stuff, where will our new friends go? Well, the future will tell, but hopefully our friends can continue their adventures.

WORLD NEWS

While a team of innocent miners were working in a cave they vanished and signs have not been found. Today we have Professor M. Brains in the studio, why do you think it's Rock Monsters?
- Well, they were going through the old cave systems, so everything is possible!
You can read an extended interview online.

While Rock Monsters have attacked, Okoto has been attacked. Ugly Skull Warriors have battled the Toa, and the villagers are afraid. Many are tired of these attacks, "Not Again," said a furious Fire-Villager.

These are all the news for now, thanks for reading, and have a great day.

Oh the Scooby-Doo sets are delayed til January in Europe apparently. I presume that means there won't be a winter wave

Maybe that's the case with UA too?

@Sibo: Nope, here's a quote from one of the emails from LEGO (I believe there were a couple, this was just the first one I came across):

...due to a strategic decision currently no new LEGO Ultra Agents sets are planned to be released in the European market (which includes AU). This concerns the sets you have queried below. [70171 Ultrasonic Showdown, 70172 AntiMatter’s Portal Hideout and 70173 Ultra Agents Ocean HQ]

@Ultra Agents- there's no question mark- it's been cofirmed that Europe and Australia will not be getting these sets. Which in my mind basically confirms that this is the last wave of UA.

Oooh, Chima successor sounds interesting, do you have a link to it?

EB thread is here. I've read it sporadically, and it's a whole lot of nothing. The Chima replacement is, as far as I can tell, speculation based on Chima's writers saying that they have a new project with LEGO and, apparently, this theme has "distinguishable" characters like Ninjago. Based on that, I think it's a reasonable assumption, but we don't know what non-licensed themes will be out next year, other than this one, so it might not turn out that way. One poster that I trust (he's an Italian retailer) warned to expect "jelly beans."

As long as it isn't as zany as Ninjago, it should be fine, I think. I don't want any Castle Copters or knights on motorcycles. I don't know, I'm sure there is an audience for that though....

Oh, the Castle theme, yeah I've heard of that. Never knew it was in any way related to Chima though, and I didn't read the bit about there being actual characters in the series. I think giving the characters apart from just the king/main enemy a bit of personaility might be a good move for Castle even if it isn't Ninjago/Chima-ish.
