Winnie the Pooh was the first ever licensed DUPLO theme. It was originally introduced in 1999, then discontinued in 2001. In 2011 the theme was re-introduced for a short time with three new sets due to the release of a new movie. There are 18 sets in the theme in total.

This theme is based around the popular Disney children's television series, which is based on the classic series of children's books written by A. A. Milne, In 2011 the theme was based of the movie.
