LEGO ID is the primary login system for LEGO.com. The ownership of a LEGO ID allows the user to buy products from shop.lego.com, in addition to accessing certain games and site features (such as playing My LEGO Network, posting on the Message Boards, and logging in to LEGO Universe.)
