Moaning Myrtle is a ghost that lives in the 2nd floor girl's bathroom at Hogwarts. She appears in LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 in two variations (Normal and Swimsuit), whilst in LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 she appears as Swimsuit, classed as Moaning Myrtle.

She appeared for the first time in the Year Two trailer of LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4, though she has either Gryffindor or Hufflepuff robes and has no glasses
LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4[edit | edit source]
Year 2: Myrtle is a boss in LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 in the Year 2 level "Tom Riddle's Diary". She died about 50 years before the Harry Potter series begins due to looking into the Basilisk's deadly gaze. In that time, Tom Riddle was not yet Lord Voldemort and he still wrote in his diary. However, Myrtle's death was the catalyst for Tom's transformation into the Dark Lord in that he created his first Horcrux out of his diary after she died.
Year 4: Moaning is a playable character in the Year 4 level "Secrets of the Egg" when Harry is in the prefect's bathroom with the Golden Egg. She flirts with Harry while he is taking a bath to unravel the secret of the egg and she helps him figure about about the merpeople in the Black Lake.

- Myrtle is a boss in the level "Tom Riddle's Diary".
- Myrtle has a crush on Harry, despite the fact that she is dead, and has once or twice spied on him.
- Moaning Myrtle's head seems to be similar to Professor Trelawney's face.
- She is the only ghost in the video game that can use a wand (she can only zap people and use Wingardium Leviosa with it though)
- Myrtle has only one variation in LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 which is the swimsuit variation that appears in the console versions of LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4.
