We may not even get a second Disney series, and if we do, it probably won't be until 2018, but here's a contest for it anyway :P As usual, make your guesses in the comments below. The first two are shoe-ins if you want to celebrate LEGO themes, and the third is up there. The 50th anniversary was a Town set, but I'm hoping that they go with original themes that have sort of fallen by the wayside over more City. Adventurers, Power Miners, and Agents seemed to me like three of the most well-regarded system themes not covered by Space/Castle/Pirates/City, so that's what I'm going with, even if I don't really think of Agents or Power Miners as classic....

TLBM is confirmed to be 20 figs. I think Clock King, Zod, Jor-El, and someone I'm forgetting (Killer Moth?) have all been at least strongly hinted at, but I don't know if they are confirmed. Anyway, that still brings me down to 14, so here we go: :P

• Robin (Nightwing)
• Batgirl (Bat Lady/Lady Bat--the "sexy" one with the black cowl; I forget what it's called) - I just want the black cowl, and maybe the legs. I forget if they had obnoxious bats on the boots, but if not they'd be good for Zatanna's stockings...
• Barbara Gordon (Fancy dress)
• Joker (Friends are Family): The obvious answer to Flashback Garmadon
• Cyborg (Classic)
• Black Vulcan
• Apache Chief
• Samurai

• Baturion - the Spartan Batman

Disney predictions:

• Alice's Mad Tea Party - Alice, The Cheshire Cat and some weird small build.
  
• Anna's troll visit. Anna (with green cape), Olaf and two trolls. Build will be odd.
  
• Snow White's Cottage - Snow White, Dopey and a lemon and red colored cottage.
  
• Jasmine's Magic Carpet Ride Jasmine, Aladdin, two Rajahs (one baby, one city), bigger build of Agrabah palace. No Genie.
  
• Kiss the Girl - Ariel in blue dress, Eric with James' head and Juniors Mia boots/leg piece, Sebastian. Build will be very similar to the 2014 set with some odd feature to recreate the Kiss The Girl scene. :P
  
• Cinderella's Castle - Bigger than the last one, but probably as okay. Cinderella with sleeves and puffy dress, Charming, Lady Tremane. Maybe a mould for Jaq or Gus, please? :P
  
• Juniors set with Aurora in pink dress, her summer variation will come with a blue dress.

Results for the Batman Minifigures Series guessing contest (I'm not late or anything):

• First place with 8/20: It's a tie between Berrybrick and Omega X!
• Third place with 7/20: Soupperson1 (who I should note guessed the right number of Batman figures in the series)
• Fourth place with 6/20: me
• Equal fifth place with 5/20: CJC95 and Albus Potter... who both only guessed a stack of Batmans... though CJC did guess 20 Batmans and Albus only had 14 :P

Okay I'm going to assume this is a thing. :P

While I like Juniors as a concept, the Friends sets they chose to make seem like weird ideas to me. Like why do Friends juniors sets exist? Why? Most Friends go up to "6-12" at highest and there's five sets with each of the characters priced at $10. I don't think they're going to be too channeling that it needs at least 5 Juniors sets. :S I thought Juniors was supposed to bring the iconic stuff of the theme into Juniorized form, so why a bat boat and a Friendsy island? :S The City sets make much more sense to me as they're giving a taste of the main parts of the theme. Okay, rant over:

• 1 Marvel - Hulk needs a Juniors set! I imagine he's one of the most popular characters to kids. We'll probably end up with a bad Spider-Man vehicle though. :P
• 1 Minecraft - A house with Steve and a Zombie (yay?)
• 1 Nexo Knights-Clay, Axl and a villain, but not Jestro (shouldn't Juniors really give the villain to kids, but I guess collectors wouldn't buy the big set then..)
• 1 City - Whatever the summer wave is.
• 1 Scooby - There's another LEGO Scooby film coming out next year so I'm trying to be positive and believe there's going to be a ton of sets. :3 I think Scooby works well with Juniors though, certainly more than Friends. I imagine we'll get some haunted castle facade, the mystery machine, Shaggy, Scooby, Daphne and a monster with a removable headpiece to reveal the face straight away.
• 1 Elves - This, Ninjago and Nexo Knights are the themes that make the most sense for Juniors. They all have high age ranges for their sets, despite having very kid friendly marketing. I suspect it's going to have Emily a build able dragon, foliage, a baby animal and either Farran or the Goblin king.
• 1 DC Super Hero Girls - This better get a Juniors set! :P It be amazing if we got an exclusive character too, but I'm leaning towards Wonder Woman saves a cat from a tree.
• 1 Friends - Were going to end up with some Olivia&Emma set due to the other girls appearing in the theme this year. I would much prefer another theme but oh well.
• 1 Disney Princess - A castle that isn't a facade? Please! Wouldn't it be neat if it introduced a new Princess. Why not Pochahontas to confuse patents?! The tree could be made out of a giant printed piece too! :D

In all seriousness, I think Cars is the only likely team from that fake leak. I mean the 2011 theme seemed to have sold really well and Pixar did have a presence in the minifigure series. I can't imagine this game not being Disney and it would actually be really interesting to see how it would differ.

I wonder could they be discontinuing mini dolls all together, it's not that many prints they'd have to redo, it would make Disney Princess sell more with AFOLS. Though it sucks for Elves and Friends fans (like me) I'll at least not have to buy every minidoll set if this is true. :P

Here's an update from Hulk_Smash on EB about TLBM stuff (the first bit about the CMFs):

Don't know about a list but some info for you, it will have 20 figs, mostly be Batman variants, have a few females in it and have no are in sets.

Speaking of sets, Penguin is getting a black and white car (with the new minifig penguins as minions) Mr Freeze is coming in a cheap set, as is another Joker and Catwoman is getting a bike.

Also Alfred is coming in the Batcave.

Guesses have never been variant specific, so you can just say "Batman" (eg, I'm guessing there will be 10 batman variants. Considering I'm guessing that most of them will be made up especially for the movie, I didn't even bother to consider what variants they would be). It could be nice to hear guesses for variants just for fun, but they'll just be listed as "Batman" for the guess.

So is Fairy Princess a character, a Batman variant or is "Fairy Princess and Mermaid Batman" one thing? :D

Ah, okay. That's usually how I play but I always thought I was sort of cheating. :P

Two different things. I think I would die of love if they combined those two together.

I'm not sure how many Batman variants I want to guess, but I'll start with these

• Fairy Princess
• Mermaid

• Bathrobe (batrobe?) with lobster
• Batman Beyond
• Bat Pack (I'm not sure what this is referencing, but it's got a gold cowl and microphone)

Oh right. The Merbat suit from the trailer. For some reason I automatically assumed it was some obscure comic-book reference, possibly a crossover with Disney, ie:

I would assume the the Bat Pack's a reference to the Rat Pack, it's the only thing I can think of that sounds similar.

I'm hoping we'd get the Santa Batman at least, but I don't know if they'd do it since the Santa hat would have to illegally (construction-wise) sit on top of the cowl

Oooh another one of these! I would just quickly list down my guesses for Rouge One, as I have been following that a bit more closely compared to other stuffs =P

• Guess 1: AT-ST (since its confirmed =P)
• Guess 2; The vehicle seen exploding on a tropical planet, belonging to the Director Krennic I think. Cant find a name for it (although I sworn I saw it somewhere), but its like Kylo Ren's shuttle, except with 4 wings instead of 2. Possible contents could probably be terrain with trans blue tiles representing water, and exploding crates and throw in a palm tree or two? =3 This would probably be the biggest set with minifig versions of krennic, death troopers, regular troopers, Erso with plans, other rebel troopers.
• Guess 3: Jedha Marketplace (Something similiar to encounter on Jakku with the fabric propped up stands, and imperials storming the market. Destructive features may also be included as seen in trailer, and yes, an imperial tank escorting X-Wing pilots)
• Guess 4: Hmm this is a hard one but I would have to go with...a full-scaled death star with its dish being inserted and Darth looking over its progress! XD

Jokes aside though, (that was a good one wasn't it? XP) erm maybe it would be a smaller scaled set with the rebel starfighter with a small section of the Yavin 4 base? (Just guessing..)

Whoops, sorry, I forgot to pull that contest down- we already got leaked images of all the sets a month or two ago. We can't link to the images here because that's bad and you shouldn't see them. Definitely don't search the lego Reddit thread for a post made 19 days ago ;)

Well, you got 1 guess right :D (the AT-ST :P)

You'll probably already see it, but here are the set names:

• 75152 Imperial Hover Tank (that tank in the first trailer)
• 75153 AT-ST
• 75154 TIE Striker
• 75155 U-wing
• 75156 Krennic's Imperial Shuttle - not the one seen exploding in the first trailer, this one only has two wings. There was a model of this one on display at Celebration (images here)

And don't worry, the Death Star is coming :D It'll be nice if it does have a detachable dish though so you could reenact it being attached :)

I'll try to add more contests later since there's only one running, but I'm not sure what else to run. If anyone has any suggestions, let me know (I'll get a Batman minifigures series and maybe series 17 set up sometime)

Here's my predictions and hopes for some 2017 stuff. Would love to hear your guys opinions, I don't this should be added to blog, it's more more as proof if one of us guesses right. :P :

City: Hospital, More water based stuff. Another minifigure set except at the beach or the alps or whoever the sub theme is going :P I'd really like to see more "Fun at the Park" in other themes too, like Friends, Elves, Nexo Knights and maybe even licensed stuff.

DC:No winter wave. Small summer wave, perhaps two or three sets based off Justice League Action which will give us two obscure heroes (Booster Gold? :D), one Wonders Woman set (unless they go the mini doll route ;)), four Justice league sets (Nightcrawler, Flyling Fox, Batcave and the small set)

DC SuperHero Girls: 6 or 10 sets. I'll even do a rough estimate because I'm claiming I'm an expert on this theme :P :

• Supergirl's heroic rescue, $10, Supergirl and Krypto
• Katana's creative fashion studio, $10, Katana and Beast Boy (animal)
• Ivy's poisonous green house $20, Ivy and plants
• Batgirl's tech lab, $25, Batgirl, Hawkgirl and Ace
• Cowl and Capes Café, $30, Etta Candy and Wonder Woman
• Wonder Woman's Wonderful Invisible Plane, $35, Wonder Woman and Cheetah
• Harley and Wonder Woman's dorm, $40-50, Harley, Wonder Woman and Kanga
• Batgirl's Bat Jet, $70, Batgirl, Supergirl, Beast Boy
• Gigantica's Gigantic Bank Heist $70, Gigantica (brick built), Wonder Woman, Bumble Bee (small), Comet

Disney:Main Street, with more characters if there's a big enough outrage over the current lineup in the castle :P

Disney Princess:A Maoana set for sure. For the love of the lord can we please get the other four princesses? :P The last four will probably have the most interesting sets, Snow White-cottage, Tiana-Restraunt or swamp, Pochahontas-River, Native American themed set of willow tree. Mulan should be interesting, I'd really love a warrior set but that's probably unrealistic. :( I expect Aurora to get her castle or possibly Jasmine get an expanded version of hers, with Aladdin and Abu. I'd really like villains to be included after Ragana, but I'm doubtful.

Dimensions:Looney Toons, Hanna Barbera, CW DC stuff, Archie and whatever license that isn't rated mature WB has left. I'm hoping we'll get more characters from year one themes and story packs and battle packs to go with them. I mean why have Oz without Dorothy? More content could be added to most of the hub worlds too, if we're getting picky :P I'm really hopeful for more non licensed stuff to appear wether it's Elves, Friends, Nexo Knights, BIONICLE or classic themes like Adventurers and classic Pirates/Castle. The only reason I see them ignoring non licensed stuff is the fact it doesn't look impressive at conventions. This will be the last year before Disney and then we'll have two more years and it'll be discontinued, if Disney joins. :P

Elves:10 more sets. Unicorns! More characters this time around, including two twins who are the villains. Ragana to return with a black and dark purple dragon. Farran will not get a cloak :P

Friends: Four safari sets, new animals such as Kangaroos, baby Elephants and adult and baby Giraffes. Matthew to be the first boy to join the main group and the theme to become more gender neutral in locations (but I don't think since the Spa in the shopping mall, we've had anything only for girls). Movie Star would be a really fun sub theme, it be like Studios except not really as its bright and pastel. :P More shops, I'm still waiting for a restraunt!

Juniors:Elves and Nexo Knights stuff, Wonder Woman and Superman DC set, DC girls stuff, two more Friends sets, big Disney Princess castle possibly Arendelle with three mini-dolls for $30

Marvel: Three comic based sets (including Hulk), three Spider-Man movie sets, one Thor set, summer two more comics and three Ultimate Spider-Man sets.

Minecraft:Villagers will appear in a cheap set. I hope there's more variation in the minifigures, Minecrsft definitely has it worst between all themes

Nexo Knights:Eh did someone on Eurobricks say desert? I'd love to see more species of minifigures introduced here, especially since Axl is confirmed to be a giant.

Ninjago:I'm doubtful on the movie and the sets will probably consist of a bunch of 3 in 1 vehicles and a few hidden gems, but at least we're probably getting a high school. I'd love more Acient Japan stuff too. And Zachary Woods <3

Scooby-Doo:Six more sets, just as an excuse to make more direct to video movies. :P Amusement Park, Haunted Factory, Haunted Castle, Haunted Concert, Winter set with a new Mystery Machine and Daphne's plane (the Mystery Flying Machine) is what I expect the sets too be. I hope there's more allies and culprits this time around. I'm certain the Hex Girls and Scrappy will pop up. Vincent could even reuse EggHead's face if they're really desperate, he is Vicent Price after all. :P Possibly even a DTC of a castle or haunted house which has all five members of the gang, that would be the first DTC (after Arkham, but that was pretty cheap for DTC standards) I'd buy.

Star Wars:More Rebels stuff, a bunch of Rouge One sets, six Episode eight sets and Luke will be in an expensive set. Hey I tried :P

The LEGO Batman Movie:

Movie:Batgirl will be based off her burnside version (I hope :P). Damian will be the robin of choice. Mariah Carey will have an awful song on the soundtrack and will get into some media fight with insert "female singer here". All five robins will appear together for the first time. Movie will be meh, but there will be some weird reference that me and Berry will spend days discussing. :P

Sets: A lot of weird Batman vehicle designs (bat hot air ballon anyone?), more 3 in 1 sets, a really weird set that gets like two seconds worth of screen time. Lots of describable characters based off everything and anything (they said it will be chock full of references). Stephanie's Robin, BatCow, Bat Hound, Baby Doll, Egg Head and Mad Hatter will be my favourites :P I imagine the only major Bat family character we won't get will be Oracle and characters on the fence like Huntress. Too many weird 'power up' Bat suits and not enough normal ones.

Other themes:

• LittleFoot: will get three sets, because it's by the same company who makes the LEGO movies :P
• Space: were in need of a new space theme I don't expect it to be big but Elves proved you don't have to be a BB to be popular.
• Power Rangers: One can only hope that this will be introduced. :P
• Smurfs:Eh the reboot is coming out and Mega Blocks lost the license, so maybe?

• Yes to Power Rangers! Except it'll be those weird movie suits and a completely stupid-looking Rita ;( Would love it if they did a TMNT and split it between the movies and TV show... (although I don't go much on the Dino Charge/Ninja Steel suits if they only do recent series)
• Nice job with Star Wars- throw in "a couple of OT sets" and "one or two annoying pointless LEGO LEGO Star Wars sets" and I think you have it :P
• Disney Main Street: I think you're dreaming :P
• Nexo Knights: Don't know if you watch the show, but what we've seen of Knighton seems high-tech Medieval good guys against fantasy-based bad guys (and one x-court jester). If you're thinking elves/dwarves, etc I can't see that happening, but who knows, they might visit a different area or Knighton or a different nation or something.

Power Rangers:It be rad if they did some tv show sets but it probably only be the modren one and a DTC of the original (which would be really cool, now that I think of it). I can't wait to see the stupet explanation for Rita's costume. :P

I was hoping that we would go to the more fantasy part of Knighton as these current sets don't seem to be doing to well. :P There would probably be too much of an overlap between it and Elves then, so maybe high tech dwarfs and centaurs? :P

There's no real need for an explanation- this is Rita. This is a dirty Viper (as in, she's randomly got dirt on her).

A DTC Command Center would be amazing, never thought of that before :O Not sure if you were thinking of that or a Megazord (which I have thought of before :P)- I thought it'd be nice to have six sets- one each containing a Zord, a Ranger and a bad guy or two. Then you could rebuild five of the zords into the Megazord, and Tommy's set would be bigger than the rest anyway and have Tommy and Rita in it (the Ultrazord wasn't that prevalent anyway as far as I can remember, and that would need the seventh zord, so no need to make it so you could build the ultrazord).

High-tech centaurs sounds awesome, never even imagined that concept :D (I mean... Artemis Fowl, but I'm guessing you mean high-tech armoured centaurs not centaur hacker guys) Now you've got me excited for something that'll never happen, but it'd be cool and quite possible to make a new centaur leg piece.

Well original Rita looks ridiculous too, but I don't think this new version looks any better. Surly they have an explanation why she's green and muddy though? :P

5 sets to make a zord seems like a lot, but now that I think of it only Tommy's would probably be the only one more than $40. I was think a megazord and a small section of the command center, mainly to include Zordon. Your way is more preferable as I won't know how much money I'm spending in the long run. :P

I just hope if we do get a Power Rangers theme next year we don't get too much stuff based off the new series compared to mighty morphin, though Keeper could reuse ET's head. :P

Yeah I meant horse centaurs. Hey maybe they will include them, Chima got pretty desperate towards the end of it's run. :P

Original Rita looks hilarious ridiculous though, this "Rita" just looks dumb, and like a typical villain. Yeah, like you said the five Ranger zord sets would be fairly smallish sets and Tommy's would be the only big set. A combined Megazord and Command Center DTC would be a great way to go if they only had one set though :) If there were only two possible sets they could do your idea and have White Ranger Tommy, and then do the Dragonzord with the Green Ranger

I completely forgot about Keeper, he's kinda irrelevant and just pops in every so often :P Kendall's the real "Zordon"-figure of the team :D

Ok, so LEGO Batman Movie, Series 17, LEGO Ninjago Movie are the three 2017 waves. So if Disney Series 2 are coming out, 2018 is the earliest they'll be (didn't realise I was so far behind :P)

I'd say wait for the trailers, especially with Ninjago. Nobody would be guessing things like Calamity Drone for TLM series. There will probably be original characters and a lot of filler in these.

CIVIL WAR SPOILER

Thought it was pretty good, loved the Giant Man sequence and was pretty happy to see that Spider-Man got more screentime than I thought he would. Really liked that they got the Black Panther origin story out of the way in this movie and didn't hold it until his movie. Got kinda sick of them all bickering with each other for no real reason in the end though, and the "villain" seemed really weak and irrelevant. I think the constant "team-up movies" are getting a bit boring for me, and I'm really looking forward to going back to standalones for a while (Doctor Strange/Spider-Man/Thor/Black Panther. And GOTG of course, that doesn't count as a team-up movie). But yeah on the whole quite liked it, even if Iron Man only got one suit, which is a first :P How about you?

An extension on the airport would be interesting, I was struggling to think of anything that would work in LEGO that was made into a set already, the Avengers Facility and the "final battle" were the only two things I could think of. Figured I'd put Spider-Man in my guess- probably wishful thinking, but they did stick Agent 13 in the airport set, so anything's possible (she is such a pointless character... they built her up in Cap 2 to have a point, then she did nothing, in this one they built her up to be actually on "team Cap" as a proper Avenger person and all she did was give him a file :/ )

Old comment, but people always just sort of assume that licenses other than Star Wars have some sort of action figure restriction. It's also possible that whatever contract they signed with LEGO would specify that minifigures are not considered action figures. I read recently (though I don't know how reliable the source is) that DC/Warner hold onto their own action figure rights.

The idea with the unlicenced contest format is that it isn't full of people saying "new figure 1", "new figure 2", etc and just stick to the figures which are pretty much guaranteed to appear.

Of course, the hard thing about Encounter on Jakku is it could be one of two scenes, and knowing that both Unkar and Lor San Tekka are in sets doesn't help that :P

I'll say Encounter on Jakku has Rey, Finn, Unkar and a thug or two (along with the already included BB8), but that could change if the other set names come out :P. I'm guessing the resistance x-wing has a resistance pilot (probably that girl one), some sort of droid whose name is only revealed in the tie-in colouring book, and a technician.

Darth Vader's TIE will have Vader, a TIE Pilot and a technician-y person. Clone Turbo Tank will have 2 Clone Troopers, 1 Clone with blue marks, 1 with yellow marks, and some Clone Wars Jedi I've never heard of.

Death Star - hard to say without knowing a price point - lets assume expensive but not as expensive as the big one, and say its based on just the first Death Star, and so say Tarkin, Vader, Stormtrooper, Mouse Droid, Obi-Wan, Han and Luke as stormtrooper, Leia and...umm Chewbacca? IDK.

Since the set name of 75150 (the TIE Advanced) has changed in a big way since you put your guesses in (there's a whole new main model in the set now), as a special on-off deal you have 24 hours to change your guess.

Nope- this blog will never be over, it'll just be updated with new contests as time goes on.

At the moment, the Disney one is the only one worth participating in because the Star Wars one is basically over- just list 17 minifigures you think will be included in the upcoming series (also be sure to read the rules at the top of the page as well, there's only really one rule so it shouldn't take long)

Pretty sure amazingbricks is reliable, I think he's pretty active in the Marvel(?) thread and I think Sci's vouched for him before. But I don't know if that's confirmation or just saying it's very likely he'll be in there?

I totally forgot about Hercules and Tarzan, I think they'd actually be in there since we had CMF minifigs similar to them (Jungle Boy and various guys like the Spartan Warrior)

Woody and Buzz probably will be thrown in because they're really popular and no new moulds :(

I don't think Hurcules or Tarzan will be included in the first line up as they're not that popular compared to others. Bolt is included in more merchandise then those two :P
