Move Stormtrooper and Snowtrooper to Imperial Stormtrooper and Imperial Snowtrooper


The official 2016 descriptions are all referring to these figures with "Imperial" in the front, obviously to distinguish between these and the First Order versions- should we follow suit?

I think in the next few years we're going to be getting a lot more First Order troopers, and it could get to the point where when you say "stormtrooper", some people (probably younger) will be thinking of the First Order stormtroopers. Don't move
  1. We don't have variants for different batman suits and they seem to be the same characters, just no named people wearing the suits. Not many children (if that's who were changing the title for) will know there's a difference between first order and original, and won't be able to find First Order page.     • That's like saying Clone Troopers should be on the same pages as Stormtroopers- same role/concept, different government (and this is a PNC, not a proposed merger) NovaHawk 07:28, 19 December 2015 (UTC)

  • Arguably the same can be said about Phase I and Phase II clones, but they both served under the Republic so it makes more sense to keep them under one page. Based on the promotional material, the First Order is at the very least a major rebranding of the Empire if not a distinct organization, so I'm leaning toward move. Same goes for the Resistance vs. the Rebel Alliance. That said, I'm gonna wait to see the movie before voting. And are you planning on turning the old pages into disambigs or would they be dedicated to the First Order troops? -- MtMNC (talk) 19:46, 16 December 2015 (UTC)
    • I was planning disambigs- at this stage I'd say the Imperials should still have priority, if they were going to be redirects, I think it'd have to go to the Imperial pages NovaHawk 07:28, 19 December 2015 (UTC)
